ARTICLE 1. PAWNBROKERS AND PRECIOUS METAL DEALERS
5-101 Adoption of statute.
Except as hereinafter provided, Article 7 of Chapter 16 of Kansas Statutes Annotated is adopted by reference.

5-102 License.
The office of the city clerk shall issue the license referred to in K.S.A. 16-707.

5-103 Reports.
All reports required under K.S.A. 16-715 shall be made to the city police chief.

5-104 Penalty.
In lieu of the provisions of K.S.A. 16-721, any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall upon conviction thereof, be fined not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars or be imprisoned not exceeding three months, or be both so fined and imprisoned.

5-105 Prosecution of violation.
In lieu of the provisions of K.S.A. 16-722, the city attorney shall prosecute all violations of this article.
